About Us

A bit of history:

After working in the garment industry for seven years, in 1992 German Amaya Sr. decided to established his own home based company: G&A Bias. He derived inspiration for his business name from the work he performed (bias) and his sons' names German and Arturo. As the home business succeeded, German Sr. decided to move his company to a central location in one of the fashion capitals of the world: Los Angeles.

To reflect a growing family business and vision, in 2009, the business adopted the name G&A Apparel Group under the leadership of his eldest son, Arturo. G&A Apparel Group continues its dedication to customer satisfaction, product knowledge, and product variety.

What we do:

We are a specialty sub-contractor that focuses in the following services: smocking/elastic shirring; bias- cross- straight-cut; binding; inserting various types of fasteners and buttons such as eyelets and grommets; converting fabrics into ruffles, spaghetti straps, flowers and bows; as well as creating your complete design of canine apparel. Please visit our services page to get a comprehensive view of our services.

Currently we are known as a "send out" business, because full-package contractors or other apparel companies, that do not house their own specialty equipment, "send out" these services for us to begin their production. However, we are moving toward becoming a full-package contractor within this year (2013) and we will have a new list of services added to better serve you. If you have any questions about our services please do not hesitate to reach us by phone or email in our contact us webpage. We are happy to answer any questions you have.
